It’s for the LAKERS SHOW on HBO called "Winning Time"! I was tasked with painting several different pairs including Magic Johnson’s college shoes in blue and green, Magic’s original Converse.
As well as Larry Bird’s original Converse in heather green.
My favorite pair are the “Nikes that never existed”. A pair of Nikes that were specially made to entice Magic to sign a shoe deal with Nike instead of Converse.
Magic Johnson! Larry Bird! I painted replicas shoes used in the show and seen by millions. It was truly amazing and humbling to see my hard work on TV.
